The backpack is llarge, exceptionally lightweight and sturdy, breathable screening. It has a short leash attached inside for convertible travelling and also a beautiful sparkly feather wand with bells. Great quality & price point.
Our cats love this backpack! They are comfortable and love the visibility through the mesh. The bottom supports our 13 lb cat well.
My cat really likes going on walks with me in this carrier. He can see and smell the great outdoors. He is 13 pounds so probably close to the limit for this backpack. I am only 5' 2" so the backpack would fit a person larger than me much better. It does not come with a waist belt which is what I would like to help distribute and carry the weight. It seems to be well constructed and zippers seem to be sturdy. I've taken him on 6 walks so far and it has held up well.
This carrier if perfect for travel! You can slide your seatbelt through the straps. Which makes for a very secure trip. I especially love the extra pockets on the sides. Super comfortable laying area. I now have one for each of my cats. They do not cry as much as they used to. I also love that I can see them clearly through the entire backpack. 100% recommend for a cat or a small dog.
Especially for the price, this is a sturdy little carrier with great ventilation and visibility so my cat can join me on hikes. She loves it! She only weighs 8.5 pounds and has plenty of room to lie down or sit up. Because she's so small, it's okay for me even on longer hikes, but if you have a bigger cat you might want a carrier with the additional strap that sits on your hips. The only horizontal strap on this one goes across your chest so the weight of the cat is on your shoulders-- ok for us, but maybe not for everyone. She also liked the toy that came with it.
True to color. Easy to carry, and as comfortable as would be expected with adjustable straps. Plenty of room for my cat, even my 20lb cat fits. Very durable. Easy to get your animal in and out of. Good quality material. Has a safety clip inside to connect harness to.
